THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW
A Holding Deposit equivalent to one weeks’ rent will be required upon application. This must be paid in full before the referencing process will begin. This will be credited to the first month’s rent or security deposit upon move in For your application to be successful we require proof of residency, i.e. a recent utility bill in your name, proof of identity, i.e. a passport or driving licence. We need to undertake successful references which include a ‘right to rent’ check. We ask all potential tenants to provide 6 months bank statements.
Once your referencing has been successful, we will offer you a tenancy which is an Assured Shorthold Tenancy for an agreed initial period. Both landlord and tenant are expected to adhere to the terms of this agreement without exception. Sample copies are available upon request.
On or before the commencement date of your tenancy you are required to pay a security deposit in the sum equivalent to 5 weeks rent. This needs to be in cleared funds.
