Why You'll Like It
A charming character two bedroom cottage with first floor bathroom located in one of the county's truly sought after waterside villages. This delightful period cottage has been sympathetically updated and is presented in good decorative order. There's oil fired central heating with an external oil fired boiler and majority modern double glazing with UPVC sash style double glazed windows to the principal rooms. The entrance hallway has beautiful parquet style timber flooring. In the snug / sitting room there's slate flag style flooring, a cosy wood burner and exposed stonework. The kitchen has been refitted with shaker style white units and polished granite work surfaces with under-mounted sink and integrated work surface drainer grooves. There's a single electric oven fitted with ceramic hob and stainless chimney style extractor. The 45cm dishwasher is also integrated as are the built-under fridge and freezer. With Timber flooring and metro style tiling this really is a super space. There's storage under the stairs and a really useful study room beyond the kitchen where the back door is located. Through a door at the end of the study there is a very well thought out WC and utility where there is space to stack a washing machine and tumble dryer. Up stairs there are two generous bedrooms and the first floor bathroom which has a separate shower enclosure (with Mira Sport electric Shower) and white bath suite, basin and WC. The attic can be accessed via an over sized loft hatch and fold down timber steps. There are two Velux style windows in the roof. Outside there is a delightful cottage garden with store shed.
