Do not sacrifice mortgage repayments, expert advises
One industry expert has stated that although many people looking
for a house for sale in Manchester may be concerned about
burglaries, they should not forget about their mortgage
repayments.
Barney McCarthy, editor of independent website Your Mortgage,
explains that many people are becoming increasingly security
conscious and aware that they need to protect their property.
However, they should not spend money on security measures if it
means that they are unable to meet their mortgage repayments, he
advises.
Mr McCarthy says: "Making your monthly mortgage repayment should be
the highest priority on your budget."
Although he believes that insurance should not be compromised when
money is low, he thinks that people who are unfortunate enough to
be made redundant should still try and make their mortgage
repayments.
Mr McCarthy's comments come after LV= revealed that 65 per cent of
people think that burglary poses the biggest threat to their
home.
