Somerset born and bred, Ben first starting working in estate agency in the late 1990s and came to work for Gibbins Richards in 2003. He quickly progressed and became Sales Manager at the Bridgwater branch before coming company Director in 2019. Outside of work Ben is a keen cyclist with an active social life. Most of his spare time is spent with his wife Kate, daughter Orla and Italian greyhound Winnie.

Nick grew up in North Devon and started working as a trainee estate agent in the mid 1990s. He then moved to London to learn the trade and in 2000 moved to Somerset. He spent the last twenty years working for various companies before settling with Gibbins Richards in 2011. He is well known as a keen musician with a love of guitars, fishing and cycling. He is married to Layla and has two children Lilly and Rufus.

Sally joined Gibbins Richards in 2002, she is highly customer service focused. Her many years experience means she is an excellent all rounder and often the choice estate agent to buyers and sellers alike. Sally has lived locally for many years, with her husband and twin daughters.

Jennifer first joined Gibbins Richards as a trainee and quickly went from strength to strength, fast becoming a brilliant sales person and now a trusted valuer. Jennifer lives locally and has an active social life. Before joining Gibbins Richards, she had previous customer service based roles and is a great asset to our team. Jennifer enjoys travelling and personal fitness and exploring the countryside with her pet dog Barnaby.

Donna joined Gibbins Richards in 2010 having worked for previous local agents beforehand. She is a highly experienced estate agent and a cheerful and enthusiastic member of our team. Donna is a naturally fantastic sales persons and takes great personal satisfaction from achieving the end result our clients need.

A keen sportsman, Charlie graduated in Sports Studies at The University of Worcester. He is an active football fan and puts as much energy in to selling property as he does on the pitch. Charie is very sociable and loves meeting new people and forging lasting relationships. Having previously working as a PE teacher at a local primary school and in various retail positions he understands the importance of fantastic customer service and effective communication.

Toby joined Gibbins Richards in 2024 having previously worked for another estate agency in the area. Having graduated from University, Toby has a hunger for success and is eager to learn all aspects of the property business. In his spare time, Toby is a keen sportsman and has just renovated his first home.

Michelle is one of our administrators and responsible for producing and up-dating any written correspondence/adverts as well as checking that all legislation is adhered to. As well as being a superb typist, Michelle is a wonderful and friendly person with great customer service skills.

Beth joined the Gibbins Richards family in 2021 and brought with her a flurry of conveyancing knowledge. She is highly organised and having worked for local solicitors, has a great understanding of the buying/selling process. Outside of work she enjoys personal fitness and socialising with her friends and family.

Tom has lived locally all his life and has acquired a vast knowledge of sales and customer service skills during his time at Gibbins Richards. Prior to estate agency he work in the recruitment sector. He is highly passionate about his work as he is his sports, previously representing England Colleges Football. In his spare time, Tom likes to go to the gym and relax with his wife and son.

Emily joined Gibbins Richards in 2020 having previously worked for a local letting agent. She has lived in Bridgwater all of her life and therefore has an excellent knowledge of the local area. Outside of work Emily likes to keep fit and spend time with her finance Toby.

Nicola is highly experienced in the conveyancing process having worked for nearly 30 years in various solicitors as a Legal Secretary and latterly as a Conveyancing Assistant. She has recently moved back to Bridgwater to be closer to her daughter. As well as enjoying spending time with her family and friends, she can often be seen walking around Bridgwater or along the canal with her Welsh Springer Spaniel, Jack.

Lisa is a highly experienced administrator to the Bridgwater office and has worked for the company for 15 years having previously worked as a conveyancing secretary for local Solicitors. She has lived in Bridgwater all of her life and enjoys spending her spare time with friends and family.

TINA FRY Viewings Negotiator Tina has a long career history working in the retail management and hospitality sectors. She now spends most of her spare time looking after her two children Max and Scarlett and enjoying evenings out with friends. She has lived in Bridgwater since 2008 and knows the local area like the back of her hand

Claire has been an estate agent in Wellington since 2003 and is a well known friendly face in the town. Claire has the ability to turn her hand to any aspect of estate agency from valuing to admin, from negotiating to marketing and is a brilliant all round Manager.

David has a wealth of experience from 10 years within the lettings industry with both independent and corporate firms. He has a comprehensive knowledge of all factors of the business and is determined to exceed the expectations of all our clients both existing and new.

Christine is our second longest serving employee at Gibbins Richards and is the ‘back bone’ of lettings – responsible for administration, landlord and contractor payments, the creation of tenancy agreements and so much more!

Kayleigh is our Lettings Property Inspector and carries out our routine property visits to ensure our tenants are kept safe. She will identify needs for maintenance and ensure that our tenants are maintaining their properties to satisfactory standards. She lives locally and has many years’ experience in the industry.

Stephanie Is our Property Maintenance Manager and oversees the maintenance division of our Lettings department. Her role is vital ensuring legal compliance of our tenancies and ensuring our tenants are kept safe. She has a wealth of local knowledge and has a database of cost-effective local contractors to carry our repairs where needed. Professional, cheerful and a bag full of energy!

Always cheerful, Levi provides advice to potential landlords on the possible rental yields of their potential investments and is at the coal face of lettings meeting potential Landlords and tenants alike. He carries out appraisals, and viewings using social media and cutting-edge technology to select suitable tenants. He has a wife and two children and plays in a local band.

Gemma has a wealth of experience in lettings and sales. In her spare time she is a volunteer with the RSPCA

Georgina has relocated to the area recently having spent the last 7-8 years in a customer facing role in a completely different industry. It was Georgina's bubbly personality that attracted us to her at interview and she brings these people skills to her role of assisting our landlords and tenants with their property needs.

Danny lives locally with his wife and family and enjoys walking his two dogs in his spare time. With a Master’s degree and having previously worked in the banking and in finance sector Danny brings great experience to support our landlords and tenants with their property needs.

Aja’s personality and life experience helps her in her vital role of managing all tenant and fresh landlord enquiries. She is “our meet and greet” of lettings but her tasks are too many to list here!!. She was educated locally and then graduated from Bath University with a degree in film making.

Involved in financial services since 2002 Alastair has a keen interest in consulting clients on mortgage and mortgage protection matters. Having access to the whole of the mortgage market and working from a number of insurers he is best placed to give clients independent and comprehensive advice.

Outside of work Alastair enjoys an active social life and is a keen supporter of Taunton Town Football Club when family duties allow.

With over 10 years of experience in financial services Aaron has spent his time working in the banking and property sectors. Working Independently, Aaron is best placed to ensure you get the best mortgage deal possible. He prides himself on being approachable, professional and flexible. Aaron is also a protection specialist which mean he can support you with all your insurance needs.

Becky has worked in the accountancy field for all her working life. She looks after our financial affairs as well as our human resources functions. Becky is the backbone to our business. Our figures are her passion! She lives locally with husband Chris, daughter Bonnie and son, Wolf.

We are really proud of Terry – he works tirelessly keeping our ‘For Sale’ and ‘Sold’ boards looking sharp across the three offices. He has worked with us for a number of years and also looks after our Taunton Independent market boards, and a number odd jobs that come up along the way.

Layla joins the Gibbins Richards family as a fully qualified Domestic Energy Assessor. Her interest in the environment and ecology means she is well suited to the role, creating Energy Performance Certificates on each property we market. She has lived locally for more than twenty years and loves the beauty of rural Somerset.

With a long standing background in both estate agency and photography, taking pictures of your property is right up Kate’s street. She loves meeting new clients and help show off their home. She gained her photography qualification in London in 2007 and has gained a wealth of technical knowledge ever since. When not working, Kate enjoys spending time with her family and friends.

Having worked for Gibbins Richards for many years as an estate agent, Sue opted to utilise her qualification and follow her passion for photography. She has been happy snapping our properties since early 2020 and loves to add her own creative style to her work. She lives locally and loves to spend time outdoors with her dogs enjoying the fresh Somerset air.
